Manulife’s Sarah Saso Speaks out in the National Post
Volunteer programs pay off for employers says Manulife’s Sarah Saso in an interview with the Financial Post last Saturday March 27th.
“We offer the opportunity for employees to get involved in things they wouldn’t normally be exposed to,” says Sarah Saso, director of community relations for Manulife. For example, more than 250 employees typically show up for the full-day Habitat for Humanity house builds, usually held on weekends.”
Saso explains that to better understand the impact of employee volunteering Manulife recently partnered with Ryerson University and the University of Pennsylvania.
The results prove that volunteering is a profitable venture delivering both of both a more positive recruitment environment while helping to retain high performing employees. For more on the results go to the Financial Post.
