Next month you’ll have more than good music as an excuse to rock out!  Steam Whistle Brewing is producing an ongoing concert series and 100% of the ticket sales from each show will be going to the Artists’ Health Centre Foundation.

What’s New at Get Involved!

At Get Involved there are tons of volunteer opportunities that are constantly being posted. Here are some highlights of great opportunities posted this week:

Volunteer Abbotsford is looking for tutors to work with adult learners in math, reading and writing.

Salt Spring Center of Yoga is offering a work exchange: skilled trades people to assist with building a new facility in exchange for free-use of all the facilities and amenities.

Laurie K is looking for volunteers to help out at her event “National Mom 2 Mom Day” – May 1st, in hopes to break a world record by raising $250,000 for Unity for Autism.
